Pumpkin Sign-Up!
$250 CASH PRIZE plus ribbons
Keep in Mind:
1. Please refrain from submitting painted pumpkins, as they can get wet and potentially damage the bandstand.
2. Remember to pick up your pumpkins by November 1st. Any unclaimed pumpkins will be disposed of (that includes any props included).
Drop off your pumpkins:
Friday, Oct 24th, 10am to 6pm
Saturday, Oct 25th, 10am to 2PM
We will assign your pumpkin a number and we will provide the flickering candle.
JUDGING! (Winners announced October 26th)
We will have a winner in three age groups:
$250 cash prize per winner.
Youth (Ages 5 -11) 2. Teen (ages 12-17) 3. Adult (ages 18 and up)
Voting Criteria:
1. Thematic Relevance (1–10 points)
How well does the pumpkin reflect the “Carving Celebrations” theme, celebrating America’s 250th birthday?
2. Creativity and Originality (1–10 points)
How imaginative and unique is the pumpkin’s design?
3. Craftsmanship and Skill (1–10 points)
How well-executed is the carving?
There is no charge to enter a pumpkin. We just want to plan on how many to expect!
